Police are investigating an armed robbery of a Woody Point convenience store which occurred yesterday afternoon. Around 3.30pm a man armed with a knife entered the Oxley Avenue business and stole a sum of cash and cigarettes before fleeing. A female employee was uninjured and the man is described as Caucasian, aged around 20 years and was wearing a black hooded jumper over his head and three-quarter length shorts.
