Police are appealing for witnesses to an armed robbery of a convenience store on Oxley Avenue, Margate shortly before 10:30 last night. 

Two men entered the shop, jumping over the counter and producing knives with which they threatened the attendant. 

They escaped with an undisclosed sum of cash and other property. The attendant was not injured. 

The first man is described as being approximately 160cm tall, of slim build wearing jeans, a striped hooded jacket and a bandanna across his face.  The second man was approximately 170cm, of slim build wearing jeans, a black hooded jumper, a dark cap and a bandanna.
