A revamped dusty old-style Queenslander sells for record price

An iconic ‘doll house’ at Chelmer has sold for a whopping multimillion-dollar price following a complete renovation.

The once musky, damp and dusty old-style Queenslander at 115 Honour Ave sold for $2.265m, setting a new sales record for Honour Avenue.

Wood is the heart of this beautiful new kitchen.

Place New Farm agent Ann-Karyn Fraser said she remembered likening the property to a dollhouse when she was a child.

“We used to drive over the bridge and I would look at it and call it the pretty doll house,” she said.
