Banyo | On the evening of Monday, April 12, police from the North Brisbane Tactical Crime Squad were conducting patrols in the Banyo area when they intercepted a vehicle containing two men.

The vehicle and occupants were searched with police alleging they located a sawn off shot gun under the front passengers seat, ammunition, a pipe, and paperwork that they believe to be stolen.

A 32-year-old Brassall man is scheduled to appear before the Brisbane Magistrates Court on May 27, charged with conduct with weapon (loaded in public), possession of category C weapon, possession of explosives (ammunition) and possession of suspected stolen property.
