A man was rushed to hospital after he was attacked in an inner-northern Brisbane residential driveway on Friday.
Emergency services were called to the unit complex on Kedron Brook Road in Wilston at 6.40am.
Paramedics, including the specialist High Acuity Response Unit, took the victim to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a serious condition with a head injury.
Acting Inspector Mick Ackery said police found two men at the scene when they arrived, after a nearby resident called triple-zero.
Acting Inspector Ackery said forensic officers were combing through the crime scene, but investigators believed an assault had taken place on the driveway, involving a weapon.
