#OnTheFrontline this week we head south to the Gold Coast and take up with Nick who has been with Queensland Ambulance Service for 14 years, being lucky enough to be in the first Bachelor Degree intake for paramedics in the QAS.

Nick currently works in the Southport Local-area Assessment and Referral Unit (LARU), is a mental health co-responder and also hits the pedals to relieve in the Bicycle Response Team (BRT). He has also ventured into Cairns and Mackay for relieving work as well.

The ability to alternate through roles, all of which bring their own unique challenges is what he loves the most about his job.
