Queensland men plead guilty to leaving tradie near-dead in vicious road-rage bashing

Two men have admitted their involvement in a vicious road-rage incident that left a Gold Coast tradie fighting for his life.

Brock Prime, then aged 29, suffered a severe head injury that left his brain exposed in the attack on February 24, 2018.

He was assaulted on the side of the M1 motorway near Yatala.

Jordan Jonathan Baklas, 30, pleaded guilty to one count of assault occasioning bodily harm in the Brisbane District Court on Tuesday.

Asked by reporters outside court if he regretted the attack on Prime, Baklas replied: “I do, yes.”
